roof dweller

Homeless person who chooses to sleep on the accessible flat roof of buildings rather than on the street. Most often used to describe an itinerant busker, such as a blues musician, who needed to reduce the risk of their instrument being stolen so chose to sleep away from the street.
He was a busker by day but a roof dweller by night.

a male specimen ranging in age from 18-35 who can't be bothered with the workaday world. he prefers to sit in his room listening to vintage japanese thrash or rare metal that is carved into L.P. form with the tooth from a rare african wildebeast, thus in his mind, making him far cooler than you will ever be.
