Raggy Boy

1. One of the many boys from the film Song For A Raggy Boy
2. A person of any gender, usually from the ages of ten to fifteen who often gets into fights and loses them, but is smart, rebellious, and doesn't give a damn. Most of them like literature, history, or poetry.
The raggy boy may have lost her fight, but he was still cocky as ever.

Song For A Raggy boy

A 2003 Irish indie movie starring Aidan Quinn, Iain Glenn, and Marc Warren. It tells the story of St. Jude's a reform school in the 1930's, and William Franklin, a veteran of the Spanish Civil War who comes to teach the boys there.
Many parents don't want their kids to see Song For A Raggy Boy because of a brutal rape scene and child abuse.
