One of the peaks of boredom you can achieve, this pattern of keyboard smashing involves pressing the keys on a downward line on the leftmost row of letters then skip the next row to the right and go up on the 3rd leftmost row, then back down 2 rows to the right of that, rinse and repeat. Then, once you reach the end of the letters, go down on the most right row of letters, then up on the row 2 rows to the right, then down two more rows to the left, rinse and repeat until you are at the second leftest row of letters.
