"Petpenpway" (pronounced /ˈpɛt.pɛn.pweɪ/) is a newly coined term describing someone who is currently experiencing the consequences of their own actions, ironically reflecting the troubles or situations they used to cause others.
"Look at Dave, always making fun of people for being late, and now he's the one stuck waiting for hours. Total petpenpway!"
"I can't believe Sarah used to gossip about everyone, and now her own secrets are all over town. Classic petpenpway."
"Tom was notorious for cutting corners at work, and now he's facing the consequences of his sloppy workmanship. Talk about petpenpway!"
"Remember how Jack would always skip out on his share of the bill? Well, now he's the one getting ditched by his friends when it's time to pay up. That's petpenpway for you."
"It's karma, man. Like when Karen used to cheat on tests, and now she's failing all her classes. That's textbook petpenpway right there."
