Adjective; When something is both optional and necessary.
That zone in the game not required and full of monsters, but it is also full of some great loot. It is completely optionary.

A fictional place or mental state where all choices are technically available, yet none are satisfying—often cited while ordering dinner, picking a streaming show, deciding whether to wear a swimsuit in the hot tub. or making “quick” life decisions.
Example:

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
