A word to describe an extreme obsession to a specific person, and going out to find negative or controversial things about them (i.e words they have posted/said, videos, photos) and going to extreme limits to punish said person if they had wronged them, even if it is minor, or that they have made a mistake.
The people were obesgative, trying to find every single controversial thing about celebrity that they can use to punish him/her.
