an extreame of abnormal fear of ther dark. This is often common in young children. Often a stage for children for imaginations that are very wild. Some cases are found in adults or teens, Mostly ones who watch too many horror films. Like "Nightmare On Elm Street" or "Fear Clinic" or any others for that matter.
Fearing, and dreading the monster/giant spider/phyco cerial killer/ghost/friend that wasnt actully a friend but a hitman behind you in the dark so you always have to have the lights on.

Nyctophobia
An extreme fear of darkness. It is believed to be caused by the brain's imagination running wild, causing an overly enhanced perception of what nightmarish things may be lurking in the shadows. As such, it is common in overthinkers.

Necrophobia
Necrophobia is the irrational fear of corpses, not just those of people but animals as well. Also included in this fear are the people, objects and ceremonies associated with death such as undertakers, morticians, coffins, tombstones, cemeteries and funerals. In a another way necrophobia could also be used to mean a fear of the dead by a cultural group, that their spirits will return to haunt the living, causing them harm in some way.

nyctophilia
I was scared of the dark as i kid but recently nyctophilia means i've enjoyed sitting in the dark by myself, its so peaceful.
