someone that is so conservative in their views on politics, religion, etc - that they are blind to any other perspective - thus making them completely close-minded, narrow-minded, etc - to the point that they are completely out-of-sync/touch w/the rest of culture/society - combination of the first name of GOP headliner Newt Gingrich and last part of word fruitcake

i have many friends that are so conservative & fundamental in their political and religious views, that they are better labeled as "newtcakes".
