Fred returned to his dorm room after class in the afternoon to find both of his roommates napping. Swept up by the napidemic, he climbed into his bed and napped away.

nacademic 

Nacademic; Nakk-a-dem-ik (noun). A person who claims knowledge in a particular subject, however they do not possess any kind of merit to back up such claims.

Simon: You can fabricate the truth.
Aman: You can't fabricate the truth as it would no longer be the truth. It's a paradox.
Simon: Here, I have a TEFL in teaching English abroad, I know what i'm talking about. I'm an academic.
Aman: You're a nacademic. Your qualification isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
