Among the myths and unorthodox news that sprinkles itself about Appalachia there exists the strange story of: The Moth Gang.
The Moth Gang is believed to be a loose collation of survivors and scavengers from various walks of life. Just how big the gang is remains unknown but it can be assumed the Gang could field forces for large scale turf wars against rival gangs and Settlers.
What is understood about this strange conglomeration of survivors is that they seemingly hold the fabled "Mothman" in near religious reverence. To this end, they viciously attack those who claim they follow the Mothman's will whenever the occurrence presents itself.
Though assuredly dangerous, the Moth Gang also exhibits friendly and even altruistic tendencies amongst one another and those who approach them in good faith. It is common for those who wish to engage with the gang to declare their friendly intentions with a phrase that is also heard when the group rides to war or declare a celebration; MOTH GANG - GANG.
