The act of rolling over and clinging to the other person in bed with you when the alarm clock sounds. This type of hug resembles a spoon technique, with a strong resemblance to the way young monkeys cling to their mother in the wild.

When the xylophone alarm clock went off, I gave Sandy the Alarm Clock Monkey Snuggle. I didn't want her to get up, so I pulled her close as she hit the snooze button.

Threw a monkey wrench into the clockworks 

This is when something is running smoothly like the gears in a clock,but then asshole has to but in with his/her two cents and fuck everything up. The worthless opinion of this tool is like taking a monkey wrench and jammin it all up in the gears of your otherwise smooth running machine.

Everything for the party was going just as planned, until that asshole got all drunk and threw a monkey wrench into the clockworks.
