monarch beach

Technically part of Dana Point but not really as it resembles more laguna beach as Dana Point can be sorta ghetto in areas like Viole(n)t lantern and capo beach near costco. Very upscale with 5 star hotels like St Regis and Ritz carlton there and a golf course. Everyone is white and drives BMWs Mercedes and Bentleys. Justin Bieber and George bush have stayed there and other famous peeps including the AIG scandal. Also got Salt Creek and Strands where there are killer waves and gorgeous ocean views. People here are white, affluent and are either super republican snobs or beach surfer bros. Also there is a park with absolutely nothing in it and is lit 24/7 wasting resources. Also a library where weird old people, hobos and pedophiles hang out. Yeah also magic johnson lives at the strands, occasionally see him at chipotle. Also people tend to think when they go to monarch beach that they are in newport or some shit but monarch beach > newport imo. less infinity pools, youre actually on the ocean as opposed to on some cliff and you can chill in the hotels and get schwack. Its a shame we cant put this as our city on facebook and instead are grouped with Dana Point or Laguna Beach. Also home to the infamous/famous jlm who drives a maserati and regularly freuents the tanning salon in monarch bay plaza and the starbucks and is self proclaimed miss monarch beach. Oh and gelsons has dank food and RIP gelato paradiso.
Person A- "You live in Dana Point? Isnt that where Dana Pills High school is where people do black tar and weird shit? Also dont you guys have a harbor or something?"

Pimpdaddy B- Nah thats Dana Point, im from monarch beach. we got Salt creek strands and starbucks for dayz

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

That dude’s such a pitpig, I have to wear deodorant to keep him at bay.

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Huge. Surpassing normal expectations.
I was fishing with a Spinner Bait and a HONKIN pike came after it and hit it . Felt like a lawnmower running over a brick.
