The definition diverges from the def. of "platonic love", as it is more focused on pacifying the partner and being the (often only) shoulder they can cry on, rather than being romantic friend of sorts. It is worth noting that it is stronger than love for a friend, but weaker than eros, deep passionate love to ones romantic and/or sexual partner. Said alien race has four different types of relationships, unlike humans who have only one, the romantic type. Each is represented by a different suit from the common card set, Moirallegiance using Diamonds opposed to the Hearts of common romantic relationships as Humans mainly pursue them. A Moirallegiance is formed between two Trolls, one who is too violent for their own good and/or their environment and another that is there to calm them down, keeping them from their (self)destructive behavior. Though likely not confirmed, there is a possibility that this can also be formed between two violent Trolls. Imagine it like a best-friendship but on a higher level.
