A perceived reality influenced through media that one is exposed to. With growth of social media networking sites one could create a mediality to others based on the user generated content they display and links they share to commercial content of personal interest thereby creating mymediality.
For example if one only consumes sports and local news media specific to a region then their opinions of things could be quite different than one who consumes only international news and genre specific entertainment, then these two individuals would have a differing "mediality".

Get the mediality mug.The degree to which a media container, such as an analog book (a paperback, a hardcover, etc.), an ebook, a website, or any other object holding media communicates its contents. High level mediality expresses itself in an abundance of different types of media contained by the product. Low level mediality suggests a scarcity of different media within the product.
An ebook has a higher level of mediality than a paperback book since an ebook can contain simple text (just like the paperback book) but also hyperlinks, video, sound, and other interactive features.

Get the mediality mug.A reality created by the media. In this subuniverse, everything is perfect. All the women are beautiful and all the men are muscular an manly. Unfortunately, this unreal mediality causes people in real life to attempt to attain these extremely unreachable standards, usually with unwelcomed and ugly habits.
Girl: I am way too fat! I need to be like those girls on TV!
Boy: Wtf is wrong with you? You weigh 50 pounds, I can see right through your stomach.

Get the mediality mug.1) the way the media portrays women versus how they actually look in real life.
2) It is the involuntary (or voluntary) act of buying into or becoming obsessed with the media’s portrayal of beautiful women.
3) Believing the false advertisement that the media portrays.
4) Becoming obsessed with one’s own body, so they resemble the media’s portrayal of beautiful.

For example, the models on those magazine covers are edited, photo-shopped, and some are even slimmed down digitally. That is the reality of the media, not what they show us on magazine covers.

Get the Mediality mug.The sort of mental attitude exhibited by the majority of teenagers worldwide; arrogance, inexperience, and self-absorption coupled with lack of insight, narrow mindedness and a total inability to accept that they could ever be wrong. It is just this sort of chip on the shoulder attitude that causes them to clog up Urban Dictionary with ridiculously silly definitions that stand no hope of ever being accepted, to compete with each other to produce the most sickeningly disgusting sexual perversion, to attempt to boost their, already over-inflated, egos with self-aggrandising descriptions of themselves or to denigrate people they don’t like with descriptions that they don’t have the balls to put their names to, because if they did they would be sued for libel. It’s the sort of mental attitude that, when their submission is rejected, throws all of its toys out of the pram and rejects everyone else’s definitions out of infantile spite.
It is to be hoped that eventually they will grow up and maybe grow a pair although it must be said that many of them never do, retaining even into old age an immature sense of entitlement.

Spite Monkey Mentality is unfortunately prevalent amongst the teens, pre-teens and post teens who have invaded Urban Dictionary.

Kobe Bryant being the embodiment of 'Mamba mentality'
Whether it be a play-off run or a training session Kobe always put an infinite amount of effort. That's mamba mentality.
Achilles torn Kobe still went up to take his free throws. That's mamba mentality.
R.I.P Kobe & Gigi.

Get the Mamba mentality mug.A phrase used in Britain to denote the belief by certain mouthy activist groups that British society as a whole discriminates against minorities. These groups can represent ethnic, religious or other minorities, or they could just be professional bleeding hearts, but they all promote the same bullshit; namely that an action taken by society against a member of a minority group will automatically infringe their human rights. This has led to the ridiculous situation where members of a minority groups get away with acts that would see a member of the largely silent majority jailed. This is due to greedy lawyers and waste of space organisations who mindlessly support these people, often at huge cost to the British taxpayer.
Unfortunately minority pressure groups like Liberty, professional bleeding hearts and all the other wasters who are BVA have pressured politicians into the belief that this is a vote winner. In fact, if politicians merely gave the matter a few minutes thought (there's an oxymoron politician and thought) they would realise that they are placing the needs of a minority above those of the majority. Effectively they have been brainwashed into a Minority Mentality.

Certain pressure groups are demanding that Shamima Begum, a member of Islamic State who has had her British citizenship revoked, should have it reinstated and should be allowed to return to Britain. A really unpleasant example of the Minority Mentality at work.
