long notes 

Long Notes or LNs for short, are a type of notes found in VSRGs (Vertical Scrolling Rhythm Games) and require player to hold the key until the note ends.

Different games implement LNs differently, for example: In the game Osu!mania (a gamemode in the game Osu!), The player is required to release the end of the note at a certain point called "Slider End", and game Clone hero doesn't require the player to release the key at any particular timing, hence, long notes is Clone Hero do not have a Slider End

A: I can't play LNs!
B: You probably practice them more.
A: I know, but they're so hard and unfun that i don't even bother trying.
B: I know they're hard, but even Long Notes can be enjoyed.
