A feeling and characteristic of being mellow and laid back, yet strong and resilient. Many try to break the spirit of the lackadaisy but the outer core is strong and cannot be broken by outside forces. One with an Innocent kind and pure spirit.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer but she is too lackadaisy to let it bother her. I’m so proud of her.

A word usually used by one's band director to complain about a band's sound and attitude during a rehearsal. Usually used as one of the only big words the director can use.
That was a really lackadaisical attitude! Do not perform so lackadaisical! Dude lackadaisical is in our SAT test!
