Kompadou is a sub genre of Haitian Kompa and Troubadour, an old style of music played mostly in the country side of Haiti
The only difference is most of thé typical instruments, which include:

Guitar, accordion, tanbou, maracas, lamellophone, bass, banza, graj scraper, Tcha tcha, beatboxing are now replaced with Modern synthesizers, Drum machines, Keyboard/Keytar, Electric
guitar, Bass guitar, Drums, Vocaloid, Auto-Tune, Personal
computer, Sequencers, DAW, Backing
track sound effects.and Vocals.
The coolest thing with Kompadou music is that NOW old school bands And musians can go back to songs they had recorded before and rerecord them as new Singles, EPs, LPs or entire albums where each song is performed in a different tune or style.
