Jalexia is an artist of every medium. She can draw, paint, write, direct, juggle, and even shake her ass if she wanted to. She’s shy, but around the right people she’s outgoing. She’ll steal your heart with just one glance, but beware getting close to her. She doesn’t have any room for people since her art comes before anything and everyone. She’s open minded and likes the attention on her art rather herself. She can be a real bitch if you screw her over so don’t ya know do that. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
