An obese person who is part of a dance crew. Any context including: ballet, square dancing, figure skating, ribbon dancing, thrashing, mashing, break dancing. Excludes: twerking.

The dance competition was tough. The opposing team had a real hefstepper.

hotstepper 

1. Used to define a person who is very skilled or adept at an activity.

2. Used specifically by those in the football/soccer meld to describe a player who possesses great ability to dupe opponents with moves or tricks. Players who possess excellent ball skills and move easily past opponents.

Ex1. Person 1: John paints so well.
Person 2: Yeah, he's a hotstepper.

Ex2. Ashley's a hotstepper, with a bag of tricks a mile wide.

One who halfsteps.
A person who is trying to act "hard", trying too hard to act cool, other wise known as a tryhard.
A wack individual.

"Dude, look at that guy with the peroxide crewcut and the orange cross-colour jeans. What a halfstepper!"
