More often than not, he can be seen sitting quietly in the background of interviews while the twins Bill Kaulitz and Tom Kaulitz do most of the talking. Despite his quiet image, he is known to have a great sense of humor and can easily become very irratable.

His musical influence is mostly Metallica.
