The process by which the world maintains a natural balance of gourds. A certain portion of the world's mass MUST be contributed by gourds. If at any point the gourd level is too high, our world naturally expels excess gourd into space. These gourds gravitate back to earth in the event our gourd level reaches crucially low levels.
A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
