Short for golden oldies. It is something that is old, but really good still. Classic, if you will.

Andrea: Have you heard the song, "Boogie Shoes?"
Sarah: No.
Andrea: Are you serious? It's a goldie oldie!

Something that is old or a tradition, but is still valued or golden. A classic.

Golfer #1: Hey have you ever played St. Andrews old course?

Golfer #2: Ugh, no I wish. It's an oldie but a goldie.
