Poppy gentil is a creature who will enter your home in the middle of the night and watch you sleep. When she is done she will walk around your room like a crab (this will annoy your pets) and will bark or meow at anything that she sees (such as your mum who came upstairs to check if you were sleeping). Popularized by the movie, "The Heathers", this phrase is said in response to a request one deems impossible or absurd (much like being gently fucked with a chainsaw). It's basically a way of showing someone how ridiculous what they've just asked sounds.
