gasliking 

The act of excessive liking one individual's posts, resulting in a large number of notifications. One may see the large number imagining some post went viral only to find it was a single person liking every post they've ever made.

I thought my newest meme was a hit but it was just my mom gasliking me as she went online for the first time in ages.

Falsely liking someones post/image/comment to make the creator think their work is impressive or getting popular. Similar to "gaslighting"...

I had all my friends gasliking that horrible screenplay for The Core so many times they actually made the movie.
