A "local only" term for the four-laned section of Pennsylvania state route 248 that runs along the Lehigh River connecting the southern border of Carbon County with the terminus of the four lanes of 248 being in Lehighton to the north. If passing through the area and asking for directions do NOT refer to this particular section of the state highway as "248", as it will only confuse the local(s) you are trying to communicate with. Stick with the Urban Dictionary's term: "Four-Lane".
Local giving directions: "Yah (you) head aht (out) Delaware Avenue to tha (the)"four-lane" takin tha ramp to Lehighton." *as they're sipping on a Zimmerman's Iced Tea*
