footy snot

Verb. To use one's finger to pinch one nostril closed, whilst simultaneously blowing snot (nasal mucus) out of the open nostril onto the field. Used to clear the nasal passages to assist with better breathing/airflow. A practice commonly used by AFL (Australian Football League) players, but not exclusive to the sport.
Fan 1: Ha ha did you see what Greene did?
Fan 2: No? Did he attempt a mark with studs up again?
Fan 1: He did a footy snot but it landed on his guernsey.
