Genre of music that’s “hardcore/punk/metal-adjacent” but still socially acceptable to be played in coffee shops/“non-hc” places.

Some examples of this genre would be: Metz, Daughters (2018-present), Hot Snakes, Mission of Burma, etc.

Originating from a coffee shop called “The Flamingo” in Jacksonville, FL

Person1: “dude did you hear that new Ceremony record?”
Person2: “yeah they’re going totally Flamingocore”

When you are at a high position or situation in life, feeling proud about yourself and walking like a flamingo but suddenly somewhere after in your life you will end up in a low and bad position or situation, feeling low and disappointed, walking like a goose!
