1. When you dial a wrong number, or some dials your line in error, and hear the screech of a fax machine attempting data transmission.
2. When your fax transmittal doesn't go through.

I just got an earful of fax noise. Must've been a faxident.

Is when an item of Fairfax and Favor is "accidentally" purchased. Typically happens after a few glasses of vino and a flick through the Fairfax and Favor club page.
