Exfoamation

Not quite an explosion but a release of gas producing excessive amounts of foam ejected at high velocity, usually causing quite a mess.

Generally used in reference to carbonated beverage foam but could refer to any type of foam.

The rapid, chain-reaction like, almost infectious spread of something.

Explomation was originally the result of a typo that later began to be used unironically, taking its definition from the words "plume" and "explosion".
