Latin for "and others".

As far dictionary sites go, I think urbandictionary.com, et al, would highly appreciate some form of gratuity.

"everything else" or "other related items". It's not too far from its true Latin meaning, just a little more urbanized.

"You bring the rum et al." Instead of "You bring the rum, ice, coke, glasses."

et y'all

Et Y'all - the Texan, or friendlier, less Latin, aka more widely understood version of "et al". It proclaims, "Yes, I'm familiar with writing etiquette, but I'm also from Texas, and we say Y'all" This greeting is the perfect salutation to use when writing or addressing a group of people. Instead of typing out every name in that first line of an email, letter, memo, or other correspondence, one can simply name the first one, and follow it with the friendly "et y'all".

Uncle Terry et y'all,

I 'm writing to let all y'all know that I can't make it to the family reunion this year.

Etalp

n. a science teacher defined as studly by the majority of the teenage, female population. Etalps are generally quite dorky in an endearing sort of way. They are very fond of Star Wars and The Who. Etalps have gelled hair and uncreative fashion sense, usually wearing outfits on rotations of about two weeks.

Etalps have a large group of worshipful followers, usually mindless drones who wear UGGs and enjoy such artists as Justin Bieber. These followers will utilize any opportunity afforded to them to flirt with the Etalp, who usually flirts back.

Girl 1: "Hey look! It's an Etalp!"

Girl 2: "He's so frickin' hot!" *swoons*

Etalihc is another term that can be used for feeling/looking positively good, or can be known as a "mood."
