Posting edgy posts in an internet forum in an attempt to troll, joke, or, less often, show the world how edgy you are. An edgepost is always a shitpost.

Posting edgy material, most of the time images, which have an edgy aesthetic, and titling those posts with the titles of edgy songs.

Person 1: Oh wow fred just edgeposted.

Person 2: I saw. He posted an image of a bloody knife and titled it "The Sharpest Lives"

Person 1: Isn't that an MCR song? Edgeposting is kinda cringe.
