Dave was not able to answer the question posed to him at the Skype meeting because he hade been eSkypeing, in this case meaning being occupied with checking his likes on instagram.

eSkypeism 

Doing something else while attending a Skype meeting.

"And what do you think Eve?" The question gets Eve, who has just been engaged in other things (surfing the internet) than listening to what was just said at the Skype meeting to freeze. "Can you repeat the question? I had some bad connection for a while." says the quick-thinking Eve and is soon back on track with what is discussed at the meeting again. Eve thinks "That was close" and that she needs to be more careful about when to engage in eSkypeism.
