dotdotdot is the oral form of "..." People who talk as if they were in a chat room in real life use this word for expressing how stupid their friends are or for saying something stupid and pointless and should be slapped for even talking like so.
It can also be said as "dot-dot-dot" but the odds people these days are going to bother saying "dash" for the "-" are incredibly low.

Dan: I LIKE TO DIP MY BREAD IN COTTAGE CHEESE!
Mandi: LIKE OMG THAT IS SO KEWL!

Verbalization of '...' which is the written form of a pause in speech.
Verbalizing the written substitue for a short silence adds a level of sarcasm to the comment (or absence there of.) When used in place of a glare to indicate ignorance, it has the effect of softening the regection.

Can also replace the dramatic pause or a pause to indicate confusion.

Girl: Like, OMG! Gambit is soooo Hot!!!
Someone who thinks she's ridiculous but doesn't hate her enough to hurt her feelings: Dotdotdot.

A paralyzing fear involving anticipation of a text message in the works classically triggered by an ellipse and an uncomfortably long pause. Those who experience this sensation are usually "Nervous Nellies" and really need to just chill out.

Christine's friend Nellie freaked out the other day when she was awaiting a text from Biff. He left her hanging with an ellipse. She waited for a grueling 2.3 minutes before her dotdotdotxiety kicked in.
