A very large poker tournament, mostly full of shitty players, aka donks. They are hard to win because these shitty ass players seem to always get lucky.

A situation where one or severall persons behave like donkeys.
In poker a donkey, or "donk" is a person with inferior understanding of the game and who basically play the "wrong" way.
Due to the fact that there is randomness in poker, sometimes the "wrong" move may result in winning a pot against a wiser player. When a really silly move ends up in winning the pot due to a very unlikely draw hitting, you can call this a donkament.

A derogatory or humorous term for a poker tournament with bad players. Derived from donkey or donk (a bad poker player). Similar to donkfest.

A donkament is a poker game where everyone starts with the same number of chips, and then plays poker until someone has accumulated all the chips. Donkaments are known for having a large number of unskilled players as compared to cash games. For example, while many cash game players may fold QQ preflop, this hand should never be folded preflop in a donkament because people will go all in with a lot more hands than just AA and KK.

Another name for a poker tournament. So many donkeys play in tournaments now that the two words have become combined, into donkament.

A donkament is a poker tournament who's blind and chip stack structure is such that an overly aggressive style of play is the common. Typically, donkaments have lower buyins and less skilled players. However, the WSOP has 1K donkaments every weekend during it's annual event and there is plenty of talent in that field.
