Display Name

This is a phrase that refers to the name by which people will see you as on MySpace. It can be anything you want it to be, as long as the length isn't terribly long. Most of the time, display names are the name of the person, but people often use them for self-expression.
Some of the display names I've had are (x ,Moderate to Severe, Vapor in the Wind, Speechless, Cradle The Fall and many others.

display name messaging (DNM)

Communicating (sometimes fairly subtly) via ones display messages say on MSN! Can sometimes be done in the form of song quotes...
display name messaging (DNM) message: "don't waste your time, we've heard it all before"

(quote from You Me At Six album)

little display thingy with our names and avatars

The thing that shows stuff. History dates back hundreds of years to 1999 when they first appeared on web forums.
That little display thingy with our names and avatars on it spelled my name wrong.

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”

An Irish phrase meaning shit, derived from ass
(Not to be confused with the literal description of one's buttocks)
"Did you hear the song Aylek$ dropped?"
"Hardly. Her music is absolute cheeks."

"My boyfriend say LaFlame is cheeks."
"Tell your boyfriend I said it's his mixtape that's cheeks."
