1. The act or practice of behaving like a complete douche bag in public thereby drawing attention to yourself and having people talk about you in a derogatory manner. Douchismo is characterized by the person believing that they are the center of attention because they are completely cool having no idea that the opposite is in fact true.

That guy trying to sing karaoke while trying to give all the ladies table dances was completely full douchismo.

When some idiot demotes or discriminates against you for not being a specific type of developer.

My boss was practicing devcism when he fired me for not being the best developer he's ever seen.
