When you go inside after a walk through a woods or a long night of layering on bug spray and need to recover and get the deet off your body usually with a shower.

That was a great night on the patio last night. The bugs were terrible however I had to go through deetox when I went inside.

dopamine detox

During a dopamine detox, a person avoids dopamine triggers for a set period of time — anywhere from an hour to several days.

The dopamine detox requires a person to avoid any kind of arousal, specifically from pleasure triggers. Anything that stimulates dopamine production is off-limits throughout the detox.

Ideally, by the end of the detox, a person will feel more centered, balanced, and less affected by their usual dopamine triggers. Allowing them to pursue their goals with minimal distraction

dating detox

To abstain from dating of any shape form or fashion for a period of time. Usually, for a minimum of 30 days, but it is not uncommon for the time frame to vary from person to person. The ultimate goal is to detox oneself from dating in order to become more aware of self and self love overcoming the dependency and or need to constantly be in a relationship.

I'm getting really tired of the dating scene, dating doesn't seem to fulfill me anymore, I think I'll try this new "dating detox" challenge I've been hearing so much about lately
