When someone is ridiculed for taking up an unnecessarily large portion of a shared data plan — ex. a phone family plan, a shared file system at work, etc.
Bridget was subject to data shaming at work after our boss realized she had been hoarding 9 GB of high-resolution photos in her inbox.
