Usually means having informal development environments, such as in their kitchen and bedroom, or in relation to unhygienic practices and questionable ingredients. Cassey: "What do you think of John Kuckian's makeup line?"
Michelle: "What makeup line? You mean his kitchen cosmetics?"

Political cosmetics

When stories, logotypes or names, which have been known for years, are edited in order to suit contemporary political tastes. Examples include scenes in movies being modified or cut entirely, changes to the language used or replacement of characters.
- Did you hear they've cut the crows of out Disney's Dumbo?
- Sure. I also heard they're removing the black man from the logo on Uncle Ben's products.
- It's very inclusive and progressive. By changing the name of that football team from Washington, we've basically made up, in part, for the treatment that native americans had to endure in the past.
- Not sure that's true. It seems more like political cosmetics due to recent pressure from activists.

Cometishian

A structure of tournament which has more skill and less luck. No buyins, no cash prizes. More a game of skill, a real cometishian, a sport.
Neil Channing was excited by the big cash buyin, big cash prize, skill-less luckfest, lazy non sport poker tournament that was running at his local casino.

Neil Channing was later disappointed when he heard the tournament had taken a 'Cometishian' style format where there were no buyins or cash prizes, a greater degree of skill was required and the event became more of a sport, a Cometishian.

Cometishian

A cometishian is a sport that involves real skill. Entry is open to any person who wishes to take part, regardless of their skill level.
They should make the WSOP a play money tournement.
No buy-ins, and no cash prizes. Just the braclet and glory. Also, this way the game will be seen less as gambling and more a game of skill, a real cometishian, a sport.

Cosmatic is the term relating to incomprehensible occurrences in the known universe. Fusing the concepts of “magic” and “cosmic”, it acts as an all encompassing replacement for any phenomenon that the human mind currently cannot explicitly describe, or explain. The ideological neutrality of the word “cosmatic” is intrinsic to accepting the inevitability of human fallibility when it comes to rationalizing the mysteries of life itself.
ie. "whoa man, the formula for a black hole is infinity times infinity reccouring? Thats hella cosmatic.."

"I dont know why that miracle happened brah, it was just so cosmatic"

"I don't know why we like each other; it's just some cosmatic connection I guess"

cometishian

A cometishian is an event that is open to anyone. It has no buyins, and no cash prizes.

It is a technique applied by tournament directors to make a tournament take a direction which involves less gambling, a more skill based tournament if you will.

Advocates of cometishian style tournaments say that the game becomes a sport, with no cash prize but the winner takes the glory and perhaps some token jewellery.
Jamie Gold wanted to enter the WSOP but he was broke, luckily at the last minute the TD (tournament director) decided that he wanted his cash tournament to be more skill based with no buyins and no cash prizes, just glory. At the cage, Jamie Gold was told he could enter because the tournament had now taken the cometishian style format.
