Coca

Coca, or doing coca, is a term that originated in Berango in the Basque Country. It was coined to describe the act of running a VERY short distance followed by walking for a MUCH longer distance. When you do some coca, you run typically no more than a few meters, and then transition to walking due to either being too out of shape, or more likely, because you just hate running. Doing Coca is primarily an activity employed by individuals who either harbor an intense disdain for running or are simply not in the best physical condition to sustain prolonged running sessions.

Coca, un término originario de Berango, en el País Vasco, se acuñó para describir el acto de correr una distancia MUY corta seguida de caminar durante una distancia MUCHO más larga. Cuando se hace coca, no se corren más que unos pocos metros y luego se pasa a caminar porque no se está en forma o, más probablemente, porque se odia correr. Hacer coca es principalmente una actividad empleada por individuos que o bien albergan un intenso desdén por correr o simplemente no están en las mejores condiciones físicas para mantener sesiones prolongadas de carrera.
