chugwall

A wall of chuggers halfway down the shopping street - sometimes from different organisations, usually brightly dressed, animated, holding clipboards or rattling buckets and/or collection tins. To be avoided at all costs and skilfully dodged if short of money, unwilling to donate or suffering from social anxiety.

Friend 1: I tell ya - I was just minding my own business walking down the high street yesterday, looking for the next pub and had to navigate the largest chugwall I've ever seen.

Friend 2: I hear ya, pal. Hope you slalomed through with no bother.
