china twang

A type of music first introduced to the southern states by American Chinese immigrants in 1904. Primarily consists of flute accompanied by hammers hitting railroad tracks. The local Americans nicknamed this mixture of music China twang.
These shirt foreign exchange student neighbors of mine are always playing that gosh darn, old school China Twang. Shit makes me feel like I’m perpetually cracking open a fortune cookie.
