The layer or build-up of drippings and soiling on one's clothes (typically a bum or homeless person) (most often on the pants)to the point of having a thick-slick-sheen or shiny appearance.

The bumshine on Rail-Road's Carhartt bibs is so thick if you threw dice at his thighs, they wouldn't even roll.
