The sound of the 30mm cannon in an A-10 Warthog attack jet. It fires so fast, up to 70 times per second, that the individual shots blur together into a long foghorn-type blast. US troops who have heard it in Afghanistan and seen its effects on the Taliban are big fans of the brrrt.
May the brrrt be with you.

John: I've heard the sound of freedom today!
David:Yeah? What's that sounds like?
A-10: "Brrrt"

To BRRRT is the action and the sound that a pissed off A-10 Warthog makes in lots of occasions. You can usually hear it in warzones, during democracy spreadings in the Middle East and warzones where USAF is involved. The length of the burst (aka BRRRT) depends on how much the A-10 is pissed.

The sound the MAC makes when you squeeze it. Can also be the sound of The trap Motorola going off if this was 2005.
