The name Bébé's Kids (alternately pronounced/spelled Bay-Bay Kids) has come to refer to any group of misbehaved and poorly parented African American children.

Bébé's Kids is an animated feature produced by the Hudlin Brothers and Hyperion Pictures, directed by Bruce W. Smith, and released on July 31. 1992 by Paramount Pictures. The Hudlins intended Bebe's Kids to be a tribute to their friend Robin Harris, a Chicago comic who died of a heart attack at 36 in 1992.

''This movie,'' says Reggie, ''will be a legacy of Robin's talent.''

The author of this definition also recalls an "In Living Color" sketch in the early 90s mentioning "bebe's kids" but can't find any information relating to that online.
