A most deadly virus first shown from the Nintendo DS game, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Bowseritis (or the Bowser Virus) are suppose to infect a person to the others causing them to transform into a Koopaling species (depending on their ages, sizes, etc.) or becoming an original character with the exact same reference as Bowser.
Doctor: "Yes... Do I see it? I do. And it emerge? It did. A most deadly virus that will surely spell your doom... It is...called..."
*Bowser's face shows up in the crystal ball*
Doctor: "BOWSERITIS!"
Bowser (in the crystal ball): "MWAHAHA!"
