BASE jumping, also sometimes written as base jumping or basejumping, is an activity that employs a parachute (or a wingsuit and parachute) to jump from fixed objects, with the parachute unopened at the time of the jump. "BASE" is an acronym that stands for the four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump:

The act of throwing each leg over the corresponding wall of a public restroom stall and defecating. This is a variation on the always popular Spidey Dump or Monkey Dump, but a higher elevation is reached.

A B.A.S.E. Jumper is a person that has received sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to allow them to complete each jump, at a graded site within their level of ability, free of injury and damage to equipment and/or property.
