Baan Vu is the warm, friendly, fuzzy feeling that a person gets when they think of Bangkok. It's the sense of peace, friendly smiles and safety you get when you are anywhere else in the world and you think of the sound of the 7-11. the taste of street pad thai, or women screaming "massage" at you. Baan is from the Thai for home and vu from deja vu.

I was just walking down the street in France and was thinking of Cheaper Better Street food and I have serious baanvu.
