alternafact 

An opinion treated by its holder as if it were a fact; also, usually relevant facts are available and are more broadly accepted due to the preponderance of evidence supporting them. The opinion is therefore an "alternative" fact. Coined by Jim McCarthy in 2020.
That we can safely stay open standing shoulder to shoulder in the slaughterhouse 10 hours/day, Mr. Tyson, may be an alternafact.
