A term used to describe a love/hate relationship couple. Another term for rival-shipping. Named after the original couple "Zaffy." The original couple consisted of two people who hated each other yet still loved each other anyway. They were the ultimate Zaffy. Another good example is Watanuki/Doumeiki from xxxHOLiC.

They hastened, but arrived 5 minutes late. In the mean time, their friend Greg has taken a cab, saw his friends arrive from the window of the cab, and let them wait for him for the next half hour as he leisurely sat in the cab on his way home.
